Neighborhood Development

Organize and facilitate vendors to host a public market along Franklin Street.  The goal of the market is to generate street traffic and increase visitors to the Downtown River Arts Neighborhood district and our local retailers.

Nature is key to keeping our district beautiful.  We are partnering with the City and Parks and Recreation Department to plan and organize tree and shrub planting throughout our district.

With the growth and development of our district, we want to ensure developers are required to meet specific standards for their proposed developments.  After all, we are the River Arts District; so artistic and unique buildings will help our district remain unique amongst other City districts.

Partnerships with our district's retailers is important to us.  We want to encourage retailers to become more involved with residents by showcasing their Holiday pride throughout the Holiday season.  We also want to light up our city with beautiful pole banners throughout the city, showcasing who we are and wishing our residents, retailers and visitors a beautiful Holiday season.
