Kim Lively Puleo is the Owner-Founder of 1205 on Franklin-Boutique Office Suites. She is a real estate investor, a local leader in small business, and has owned and sold several successful companies in the construction industry. Kim is currently serving her 5th year on the Board of DRANA and works on committees in the downtown area including the Downtown Community Advisory Committee (CAC), Downtown Planning and Development Committee (DPD), Special Services District Committee (SSD) and the Architectural Design Committee (ADC). As a community leader, Kim focuses on the safety and beautification of the Franklin Street Corridor. Kim has funded light installations for the community that have served a variety of purposes, from addressing safety concerns to enlivening the community during the holidays. Kim works directly with the downtown Homeless Liaisons fostering meaningful solutions for the homeless.
She lives and works in Downtown Tampa with her Cane Corso Bugatti.
Chris Hicks is the owner of a marketing technology consulting firm based in downtown Tampa. He has lived in downtown Tampa with his dog Apollo since 2016 and enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling. Chris will continue his efforts to make downtown a more comfortable place to live by engaging with police and local businesses on code enforcement issues.
Ryan Scott Misener was born in Clearwater and was a student of Pinellas County Schools, from kindergarten through 12th grade. He moved to Tampa in 2003 to pursue postgraduate studies and received a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. In 2013, Ryan moved to Downtown Tampa, which will continue to be his home for the foreseeable future. He hopes the River Arts District will strive to be a safe, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. He eagerly anticipates downtown's expansion, with many more residents, ground floor retail experiences, and advancements to the Tampa skyline in the years to come.
Merrell Dickey currently serves as the Chief of Development for St. Vincent de Paul CARES which provides solutions based homeless services in 19 Florida Counties. Previous to that he worked at the Hillsborough Education Foundation, USF, and HCC after serving as a Catholic priest in this area. Merrell holds a Master of Arts and Masters of Divinity degree.
Mellissa Longo has resided at Skypoint for nearly three years and in downtown Tampa for almost five years. She is an attorney and has been practicing law for over twenty years. She is barred in New Jersey and has her Florida In House Counsel certification. She currently works for a national behavioral health company and her focus has been practicing in the behavioral health arena for the last 10 years. Prior to that she served as corporation counsel for two municipal governments. She is active in the Tampa Bay area including serving as a Board Member and currently Chair of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay for the last five years and the treasurer/secretary of Skypoint HOA. She is passionate about volunteering and serving her community.
Marybeth Palmer grew up in Tampa and attended Chamberlain High School and the University of Tampa. After retiring in Atlanta from a successful career in music education, Marybeth and her partner, Sandy returned to Tampa where they reside at Skypoint.
Marybeth has an appreciation for the history of Tampa and recognizes how much the downtown area has changed and progressed. She wants to see more properties redeveloped to enhance the residential character of the downtown area and more city policies that reinforce the downtown's residential vibrancy. She is looking forward to serving on the DRANA Board.
Sandy Pardue originally was a South Floridian, having grown up in Ft. Lauderdale. After graduating from FSU she moved to Atlanta, Georgia and taught English at the middle and high school levels. She earned her Masters Degree from FAU and her Specialist Degree from GSU.
Eventually she became a school administration, serving as a principal for several middle schools in the Atlanta area. Retirement brought opportunities to learn to golf and to hit the pickleball court often. She and her partner, Marybeth, moved to Tampa full time in 2021. They live in the vertical community of Sky Point and enjoy all the benefits of living in downtown Tampa. Sandy is interested in the performing and visual arts opportunities that our neighborhood promotes. She wants to see the vision of the River Arts Neighborhood as a welcoming, vibrant, safe, and user friendly locale for residents, businesses, and visitors fully realized.
As a native of Southern California and raised in Kansas, Catharine Ryun refers to herself a Cali-Kansan. She went from herding sheep on a farm in Kansas to the Halls of the White House. A job opportunity moved her from D.C. to San Diego and then on to Tampa, FL 5 years ago, where she participates in as many outdoor activities as possible during her free time. Catharine is a jack-of-all-trades: she enjoys singing on the music team at church, planning game nights with friends, is a certified Sailor, former EMT, Auntie to 13 and foster mom! She is presently employed as Director of Development for Jim Ryun Running Camps.
Alecia Savas is a born-and-raised Floridian of the Tampa Bay Area. She has resided in Downtown Tampa for over 5 years and cherishes the city and community. Alecia is a seasoned business professional with a diverse background in real estate, marketing and event management. She is currently a REALTOR® with the Savas Group at Charles Rutenberg Realty and also an Instructor at the University of Tampa. Alecia is passionate about helping the city continue to prosper, while keeping residents', visitors' and business owners' needs and desires top of mind. While serving as a DRANA Board Member, Alecia has several goals to advance commercial business and residential opportunities, develop local businesses, enrich the environment regarding debris removal and beautification, improve pedestrian-friendly streets, reduce homelessness through the enhancement of accessibility to resources and opportunities, and more.
